BIOGRAPHY

 

Maya Jade is a Jamaican-Canadian singer and artist currently based in Vancouver, BC. Raised in a music-filled household where reggae, soul, and R&B were always playing, Maya developed a deep love for singing early on. No matter where life took her—including several moves across countries—she consistently found her way into music programs, from school choirs and jazz bands to orchestras and music camps.

Her smooth, soulful voice and blend of R&B and pop draw inspiration from artists like Sade, Mereba, and Jorja Smith. With new music on the horizon, Maya is poised to make an even stronger mark on Vancouver and Canada's R&B scene.
